The Elizabeth Dole Foundation and its fellows were invited to a lawn party and private screening in the White House movie theater of Richard Lui’s documentary "Unconditional: When Minds Hurt, Love Heals!", which stories the importance of mental health for those living with a disability.

Every year, The Fund for American Studies invites Capitol Hill interns to attend a lecture from Senator Rand Paul (KY) about the merits of Libertarian ideals and the flaws of America’s government and democracy as it currently stands. This year’s lecture was held in the Hart Senate Office Building.
Google’s HQ in Washington, DC hosted a conversation with Ivanka Trump and Ramesh Ponnuru of NRI on how a divided Washington can best support working families. The conversation highlighted paid family leave and expanding childcare options as important issues for the conservative community. The goal was to explore ways to help families overcome the financial hardships that come with extended time off from work for the birth or adoption of a child and to best support working families with childcare needs.I was absolutely honored to have been asked to photograph this event, and I’m very proud of what was captured!

The establishment of Bosom Buddies Charities, Inc., is the fulfillment of a long-time dream of Queen Anne’s County resident Susan Ponchock. After surviving the diagnosis of an aggressive type of breast cancer, the trauma of surgery and stem cell transplant, chemotherapy and radiation, Susan made a vow to “give back” by founding Bosom Buddies Charities.
