Heroes and History Makers Celebration - Elizabeth Dole Foundation

This spectacular gala hosted by Tom Hanks and Savannah Guthrie serves as an annual fundraiser by the Elizabeth Dole Foundation to raise awareness and funds for EDF’s mission to strengthen, empower, and support America’s military and veteran caregivers and their families by raising public awareness, driving research, championing policy, and leading collaborations that make a significant impact on their lives.

 

Special Reception at The White House with The Elizabeth Dole Foundation and First Lady Dr. Jill Biden

The Elizabeth Dole Foundation and its fellows were invited to a lawn party and private screening in the White House movie theater of Richard Lui’s documentary "Unconditional: When Minds Hurt, Love Heals!", which stories the importance of mental health for those living with a disability.

The National Association of Wholesaler-Distributors had former US Vice President Mike Pence and former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo as guests to discuss the wholesale distribution industry with CEO Eric Hoplin for NAW’s yearly conference in Washington, DC.

 

Unitas Illumination Gala 2023

Unitas, a nonprofit NGO committed to fighting human trafficking and helping victims, hosted a spectacular gala in New York City to encourage guests to “shine their light” on the issue and raise funds for the organization’s mission. Photographing this event was a lot of fun and it goes to show what great event planning can do to make sure an event is captured in its best light!

Arlington’s Chamber of Commerce hosted a gala at the Ritz-Carlton in Pentagon City to celebrate its membership and raise funds for its community efforts

 

Knob Creek Distillery Private Barrel Selection - King and Rye

King and Rye, the fantastic southern-style restaurant at the Alexandrian hotel, went to Mount Vernon with Beam Suntory to sample Knob Creek rye whiskey from a private barrel for their restaurant and bar.

 

31st Annual TFAS Scholarship Dinner

TFAS supporters, alumni, and friends gathered on Sept. 14 at the 31st Annual TFAS Scholarship Awards Dinner to recognize the 2021 TFAS students and prominent leaders in the business and government relations community. The Congressional Leadership Award was presented to U.S. Senator Dan Sullivan of Alaska and the Business Leadership Award to Suzanne Clark, President & CEO of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, for their contributions to free enterprise and building up the next generation of leaders.

 

TFAS Guest Lecture - Senator Rand Paul

Every year, The Fund for American Studies invites Capitol Hill interns to attend a lecture from Senator Rand Paul (KY) about the merits of Libertarian ideals and the flaws of America’s government and democracy as it currently stands. This year’s lecture was held in the Hart Senate Office Building.

 

National Review Institute Event with Ivanka Trump and Ramesh Ponnuru

Google’s HQ in Washington, DC hosted a conversation with Ivanka Trump and Ramesh Ponnuru of NRI on how a divided Washington can best support working families. The conversation highlighted paid family leave and expanding childcare options as important issues for the conservative community. The goal was to explore ways to help families overcome the financial hardships that come with extended time off from work for the birth or adoption of a child and to best support working families with childcare needs.I was absolutely honored to have been asked to photograph this event, and I’m very proud of what was captured!

 

Morton Blackwell’s 80th Birthday/Leadership Institute’s 40th Anniversary

Morton Blackwell, the founder of Leadership Institute celebrated two important milestones at this event. Leadership Institute has provided training in campaigns, fundraising, grassroots organizing, youth politics, and communications and teaches conservatives of all ages how to succeed in politics, government, and the media.

The establishment of Bosom Buddies Charities, Inc., is the fulfillment of a long-time dream of Queen Anne’s County resident Susan Ponchock. After surviving the diagnosis of an aggressive type of breast cancer, the trauma of surgery and stem cell transplant, chemotherapy and radiation, Susan made a vow to “give back” by founding Bosom Buddies Charities.
